I’ve decided I’m ready to buy a handmade acoustic steel string guitar. I’m missing my Gurian, jumbo, Brazillian rosewood guitar that I bought in 1979 in NYC. Ironically I bought it the year the Gurian shop in Nashua New Hampshire burned down.
I’ve got 3 luthiers to check out all of whom have worked with Gurian; Michael Millard- Froggy Bottom, William Cumpiano and Steve Sauve.
I played to of Michael’s guitars today and they were wonderful, rich, warm, open necks, very good intonation.
Tomorrow I’m of to Steve Sauve’.
